Load and save scenarios

ORBAT Mapper does not give you online storage. Thus, your computer keeps all your scenarios. The browser keeps them in its storage (IndexedDB) by default. You can also download them to your computer as files.

WARNING

The storage of the browser is not a backup. If you erase the storage of the browser, you lose all your scenarios. The browser can also erase the storage automatically when it does not have sufficient space.

Download your scenarios to your computer regularly to make a backup.

External scenarios

An ORBAT Mapper scenario is one file with the extension .json. To load a scenario, drag the file and drop it on the ORBAT Mapper window. As an alternative, select Open scenario from the File menu.

You can load scenario files from your local file system or from a URL.
